Release Microsoft SQL Server 2008 has been postponed again?
Microsoft previously announced that it intends to release SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (SP3) this summer. In turn, raises the question: What then is the status of SQL Server 2008? Officially, he is still on the way to release (has the status of RTM) in the third quarter of this year, and Microsoft itself says that nothing can change this event. But some people say that would not be surprised if the status of RTM (Release To Manufacturing) perenesut again for the fourth quarter of this year.
“Rumours that go before me, talking about August or September” – said Endryu Brust (Andrew Brust). Brust founder of the user group NYC. NET, and the leader of the “New Technology”. He also added that his intuition based on the stability of the last CTP (connectionless transport protocol) – its production is extended for another quarter.
Brust – author of “Programming Microsoft SQL Server 2005″ (Published by Microsoft, 2006), and currently writes continued “Programming Microsoft SQL Sever 2008″ with his colleague Leonard Lobelem (Leonard Lobel). “This is just an assumption, but I really think that they will do it this year.’s Name corporations will force them to do this” – said Brust group of 100 developers.
