Microsoft removes restrictions on loading Windows 7 to 24 January

windows 7 logoAs you may recall, Microsoft has established a limitation of 2.5 million copies for everyone to take part in testing the new operating system Windows 7. But, in connection with the just created an enormous interest from around the world connected to the testing program, which, in turn, is adversely affecting the server equipment corporation, it had to first suspend the testing program, and then, less than a day, access to the program was again restored. But best of all this, perhaps, was that Microsoft had removed all restrictions on loading Windows 7.

I can assume that this decision was taken on at least two reasons: first – it surpassed all expectations corporate demand for Windows 7 and the second – in a way and let a little bit, but still managed to reduce the load on the server is not a rubber equipment which now serves people from all over the world.

But what is stated in the message on the official Windows 7 blog:

We know that in the past 24 hours, many of you are faced with problems on the site on a beta version of Windows 7. As you might have noticed, working the site was restored, and he is working as normal, since this morning. Nevertheless, we apologize for any inconvenience that might cause you as a result of technical problems.

In connection with the huge wave of users who want to download Windows 7, there were problems with loading the OS, but we tried to do everything necessary to ensure that as soon as possible, recover the system. It has become clear that to evaluate the Windows 7 Beta are very many, and as a result, we have decided to abandon the restrictions in the initial 2.5 million copies before the 24 January. Within two weeks, everyone will be able to access the beta version of Windows 7 regardless of the number of active participants in the program.

Thank you for your enthusiasm, interest and desire to participate in the beta. We were pleased to see your positive feedback. As you know, the product is being tested. We are working hard to make Windows 7 the ideal system for each user. And your participation is important. Thank you!
