Microsoft removes restrictions on loading Windows 7 to 24 January
As you may recall, Microsoft has established a limitation of 2.5 million copies for everyone to take part in testing the new operating system Windows 7. But, in connection with the just created an enormous interest from around the world connected to the testing program, which, in turn, is adversely affecting the server equipment corporation, it had to first suspend the testing program, and then, less than a day, access to the program was again restored. But best of all this, perhaps, was that Microsoft had removed all restrictions on loading Windows 7.
I can assume that this decision was taken on at least two reasons: first – it surpassed all expectations corporate demand for Windows 7 and the second – in a way and let a little bit, but still managed to reduce the load on the server is not a rubber equipment which now serves people from all over the world.
But what is stated in the message on the official Windows 7 blog:
We know that in the past 24 hours, many of you are faced with problems on the site on a beta version of Windows 7. As you might have noticed, working the site was restored, and he is working as normal, since this morning. Nevertheless, we apologize for any inconvenience that might cause you as a result of technical problems.
In connection with the huge wave of users who want to download Windows 7, there were problems with loading the OS, but we tried to do everything necessary to ensure that as soon as possible, recover the system. It has become clear that to evaluate the Windows 7 Beta are very many, and as a result, we have decided to abandon the restrictions in the initial 2.5 million copies before the 24 January. Within two weeks, everyone will be able to access the beta version of Windows 7 regardless of the number of active participants in the program.
Thank you for your enthusiasm, interest and desire to participate in the beta. We were pleased to see your positive feedback. As you know, the product is being tested. We are working hard to make Windows 7 the ideal system for each user. And your participation is important. Thank you!

Windows 7 goes beyond the local search
In August, Microsoft released the fourth generation of its search technology Windows Search 4.0 (WS4). According to the results of recent tests, improved productivity in the new version was simply stunning: 26% faster for Windows XP, and 84% – for Windows Vista. At the moment, we already know that Windows Vista SP2 will be supplied with WS4, therefore, likely that the Windows 7 Find and Organize team uses technology WS4 the basis for the development of Windows 7.
But a team of developers will not be limited only by the comparative tests on productivity. When withdrew Vista, it has surpassed the Windows XP search capabilities. And now it is time to see how Microsoft plans to refine the search in Windows 7. According to information that the Corporation has submitted to developers, the new operating system will be able to search the local network:
Windows 7 has the ability to search for documents outside the user’s computer. The developers and IT professionals can customize their search mechanisms without the need of writing a separate code in a way that is OS Windows 7 search. This will allow end-users search the local network or the Internet with the ease with which you can find any document on the computer, while using the familiar and the familiar interface of Windows

Windows 7 taskbar: The most interesting part of the new OS?
Of all the innovations and opportunities of the new operating system from corporations Microsoft – Windows 7, the taskbar, perhaps the most interesting innovation. Furthermore, in fact, now we know little about the functionality of the new task pane, as it was not included in the release, participants received annual conference for professional developers PDC 2008 held in Los Angeles from 27 to 30 October.
More secrets to the new panel was not so long ago it was disclosed to the engineering blog Microsoft, on Windows OS 7. Despite some criticism that the redesigned Windows taskbar 7 visually looks similar to Mac OS X dock, Microsoft really wants to change the understanding of the users on how to look, feel and operate the new toolbar. “It will be both different and familiar habitually”, – underline the employees in your blog. “A time will tell whether it is actually better.”

How many editions of Windows 7 will be released?
Microsoft has not yet announced how many versions of Windows 7 will be released for sale, but based on information already known, we can say that they would “not little.” We already know that Windows 7 will come in two versions – as x86, and x64. Those who still hope that Microsoft will revert to the ideology of Windows XP will be disappointed.
The first beta version of Windows 7 – the one that got the conference PDC 2008, was drafted in the Ultimate Edition. While this is little that confirms all the same logical to expect Windows 7 Ultimate Edition on sale. It is also about another version of Windows 7 – Enterprise Edition. It is a reference to the technical documentation for software product BitLocker Drive Encryption: “BitLocker Drive Encryption (BitLocker) is available on computers with the Windows 7 Enterprise Edition and Windows 7 Ultimate Edition”. If the version of Enterprise Edition, logically expect version Business Edition.
Here I quote the list of available today editions of Windows XP and Windows Vista:
* Windows XP: Starter, Home, Professional, Professional x64, Media Center, Tablet PC;
* Windows Vista: Starter, Home Basic (32bit and 64bit), Home Premium (32bit and 64bit), Business (32bit and 64bit), Enterprise (32bit and 64bit), Ultimate (32bit and 64bit).
It seems that Windows 7 will be about six editions, but there are rumors that Microsoft will not follow the same editorial that with OS Windows Vista. Rather, the corporation remove version of Home Basic from the list. So, we know that will be drafted: Small Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise. You can guess the rest?

Windows 7: everything is just beginning

Instead, PDC 2008 became only the tip of the iceberg; pre-test build Windows 7, distributed at PDC 2008 trickled to the Internet, and began to actively discuss at different forums. In addition, the conference Windows Hardware and Engineering Conference 2008, or WinHEC 2008 Corporation revealed more details about Windows 7.
Pre-beta (build 6801) Windows 7, with the PDC 2008 conference quickly spread among users searches sites (p2p) in both versions, as x86, and x64 bit. The total number of downloads of the OS is estimated at tens of thousands. The views of users were, of course, mixed: some of them complained that there was not anything new (compared to Vista), while others say that this is only the beta version, and that expectations from it should not be high. A third and far chosen to exercise its option and started to figure out what the new Microsoft introduced in Windows 7.

Is discovered new vulnerability into Internet Explorer

Microsoft Of internet Of explorer 6, 7, and its 8 beta 1 version contain the vulnerability of safety, using which with the visit by the users of the specific Web sites or with the discovery of harmful electronic communication hackers can carry out on the computer of victim the arbitrary code. American service of computer safety (U.S. CERT) published the note of vulnerability, which indicates that Internet Of explorer not reliably is turned with the frames of document.
The frames into the Web document can be used for the separation of [kontenta], each of which can load from the different the Web servers or domains. These “floating frames”, or built-in frames, frequently are used for servicing the declarations, which, as a rule, act from the different domains, than the content, which appears at one page.
As speaks the American service of computer safety, problem consists in the fact that “Microsoft Of internet Of explorer will not be able it must limit access to the document into the personnel, which can allow that attacking to change contents of frames into another domain”.

Microsoft promises to release Windows 7 on schedule
Despite the spread of various rumours about the release date of the next generation operating system, now known as Windows 7, Microsoft is not going to go back on their word. In his letter, senior vice president of Microsoft Bill Veghte confirmed that the next operating system must go approximately three years after the official launch date of OS Windows Vista – January 2007.But the most interesting part letter, perhaps, is something like Bill Viht explained its message about the date of release: “You have asked more regular and predictable timetable for withdrawal OS Windows”, – he writes. “You need to just ask to get an answer. But one question remains: how Microsoft intends to implement all this?”
