Microsoft removes restrictions on loading Windows 7 to 24 January

windows 7 logoAs you may recall, Microsoft has established a limitation of 2.5 million copies for everyone to take part in testing the new operating system Windows 7. But, in connection with the just created an enormous interest from around the world connected to the testing program, which, in turn, is adversely affecting the server equipment corporation, it had to first suspend the testing program, and then, less than a day, access to the program was again restored. But best of all this, perhaps, was that Microsoft had removed all restrictions on loading Windows 7.

I can assume that this decision was taken on at least two reasons: first – it surpassed all expectations corporate demand for Windows 7 and the second – in a way and let a little bit, but still managed to reduce the load on the server is not a rubber equipment which now serves people from all over the world.

But what is stated in the message on the official Windows 7 blog:

We know that in the past 24 hours, many of you are faced with problems on the site on a beta version of Windows 7. As you might have noticed, working the site was restored, and he is working as normal, since this morning. Nevertheless, we apologize for any inconvenience that might cause you as a result of technical problems.

In connection with the huge wave of users who want to download Windows 7, there were problems with loading the OS, but we tried to do everything necessary to ensure that as soon as possible, recover the system. It has become clear that to evaluate the Windows 7 Beta are very many, and as a result, we have decided to abandon the restrictions in the initial 2.5 million copies before the 24 January. Within two weeks, everyone will be able to access the beta version of Windows 7 regardless of the number of active participants in the program.

Thank you for your enthusiasm, interest and desire to participate in the beta. We were pleased to see your positive feedback. As you know, the product is being tested. We are working hard to make Windows 7 the ideal system for each user. And your participation is important. Thank you!

Review of Microsoft Explorer mouse

Not long ago, Microsoft launched its new technology based on blue laser – BlueTrack technology. There have been many allegations that the mice with a blue laser is better for their fellow with conventional laser technology. The reason for these statements is that on the application of the corporation itself mouse technology-based “BlueTrack technology” works almost on any surface.

We managed to get into their own hands mouse, Microsoft Explorer, which is currently the only desktop mouse, which uses technology BlueTrack, although there is also a mini-mouse, Microsoft Explorer, made specifically for laptop users. The main differences between the two devices is that Microsoft Explorer mouse more, and comes together with a docking station for charging batteries of the “AA”, which uses a “miracle mouse”. As seen from the titles, Explorer Mini Mouse is the lesser of their older sister, so she does not use batteries. Instead, they need to use standard batteries of the “AAA”

Both models are delivered with a small transmitter that can be hidden at the end of the mouse. When the transmitter at the bottom of the mouse, the mouse is automatically turned off, thus saving battery charge. The only negative fact is from this perspective that you can take what you can not charge the mouse at the same time, because it could not fit on the docking station connected to the transmitter.

Dock is very small, like himself the power adapter, but she kept on the table is much better than expected, taking into account its small size and weight.

The mouse itself is fairly large, which may cause some inconvenience for people with small size hands, but at the same time, it is very ergonomic and easy to use. The main body of the mouse used a soft rubber material that gives more convenience when using it.
